We have officially concluded Week 2 of the renovation and demo is about 95% completed. We are making good progress and should be moving forward with patching and replacing drywall and texture on various walls throughout the house. We will also be ordering new cabinet and drawer fronts for the kitchen, laundry room, hallway and bathroom as we have decided to "reface" or replace the cabinet doors on existing cabinetry in some areas so we can stay within budget. Once these items have been completed, it will be time to begin painting and I will be finalizing the paint colors soon! I like this stage because it is almost like a blank slate and I can see the size of the space and really start to visualize my designs. I also put together a video where I have walked through the house and provided more detail about what we plan for the space! Once we started demoing the kitchen, we came up with a few changes to the design and layout that I think will make a big difference on the overall look and feel of the kitchen. I discuss in the video below. (I forgot to turn my phone camera horizontal again....I apologize for the size of the video. I will learn at some point!!)
